Illinois accountant sells Beach Point condo for $1.05M

Edward Rothblatt and Myra Davis sold a three-bedroom, three bath condo at 2660 S. Ocean Blvd. in Palm Beach for $1.05 million to Rita K. Krosney on July 18.

The six-story Beach Point building was built in 1979. Unit #6040 measures 2,606 square feet.

Mr. Rothblatt is an accountant and a co-founder of Frost, Ruttenberg & Rothblatt, P.C., an accounting firm established in 1955 in Chicago, Ill.

Condo sales in Palm Beach were down 15.9 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also dropped 7.2 percent, from $800,000 in 2006 to $742,000 last year.

Sales in Palm Beach Towers fell 25 percent in 2007. The median sales price, however, rose more than eight percent, from $1,012,500 to $1.095 million during the same period.
