Carol Jean Healy Glasgow and her husband, David, bought a home at 7972 NW 125th Terrace in Parkland from Scott and Vinette Bornstein for $600,000 on July 9.
The Bornsteins bought the home for $732,000 in Jan. 2007, the same year the house was built.
Mrs. Glasgow is a partner at Billing, Cochran, Heath, Lyles, Mauro & Ramsey in Fort Lauderdale. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death law, hospital and healthcare law, premise liability and guardianship law. She's been with the firm since 1998.
Prior to a career in law, she had eight years of experience as a critical care nurse.
She obtained her bachelor's in nursing from Barry University in Miami Shores (1991) and her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale ('94).
Home sales in
Parkland are down nearly 39 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price also dropped from $729,000 to $640,000 so far this year.
