Real estate developer sells West Boca home to asset manager

Mr. Geiserman
Jay M. Geiserman and his wife, Lori, sold a four-bath home at 7972 Mandarin Drive in West Boca to Milagros Perez Leal for $611,077 on June 30.
The Geisermans bought the property in May 2002. The 3,381 square foot house, which is in the Boca Grove Plantation, was built in 1984.
Mr. Geiserman is vice president of
SouthEast Properties, a commercial real estate development company in Deerfield.
He joined the company in 2000 as a property manager for its 16 commercial properties. Prior to this, he worked in the architectural field for 14 years, first in Southern California and then South Florida at Vander Ploeg & Associates in Boca Raton.
Some of the South Florida properties he was involved in are the Davie Square Shopping Center, Floridian Community Bank Building, Barclay Square and Buttonwood Plaza.
Leal is vice president of operations at
Loyola Asset Management in Miami.
She began her career at Bear Stearns in New York City, where she became vice president of the Latin America division. She moved to Miami in 1995 and worked as a financial consultant with Oppenheimer & Co. In 2001, she joined Solomon Smith Barney.
Home sales in
West Boca dropped seven percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price fell from $255,000 to $191,000.
