Elke Pratley and her husband, Karl Hermann-Baumann, bought a three-bedroom, three bath condo in the Palm Beach Stratford at 2580 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach from the estate of Dorothy Rubin for $1.55 million on May 30.
Unit #0050 is one of 56 in the Palm Beach Stratford, which was built in 1979.
Ms. Pratley is the president of New York City-based Pratley International, a service firm founded in 1990 to assist small and medium-sized German companies gain access to the U.S. market.
Condo sales in
Palm Beach dropped 15 percent in 2007. The median sale price also dropped from $800,000 in 2006 to $742,000 last year.
Sales in the
Palm Beach Stratford did not change in 2007. The median sale price in 2006 was $915,000.
