Anesthesiologist spends $1.05M for West Boca 5BD

Dr. Gilbert Chidiac and his wife, Claudia, bought a five-bedroom, five bath at 17896 Villa Club Way in West Boca for $1.05 million from Robert Finizio and his wife, Kyle, on June 11.

The Finizios paid $795,643 for the 4,404 square foot house in Nov. 2004, the same year it was built.

Dr. Chidiac is an anesthesiologist at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Boca Raton.

He has also served as a staff physician at the Miami Veteran's Administration Medical Center and as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the University of Miami.

He received his M.D. from the Universite Saint-Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon, and completed his fellowship at the University of Toronto.

Home sales in West Boca have dropped 7.5 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also dropped $64,000, from $255,000 in 2007 to $191,000 so far this year.
