Health care real estate developer spends $3M in Uninc. Palm Beach

Michael D. Rendina bought a five-bedroom, 5.5 bath at 5335 Center St. in Unincorporated Northeast Palm Beach County for $3 million from Daniel F. Freeman and his wife, Deborah, on June 9.

The 4,603 square foot home was built in 2000.

Rendina is a senior vice president at Rendina Companies, a health care real estate development company based in Jupiter. He's also served as the asset management director and a development director for the company.

He was previously a financial analyst with Lehman Brothers in New York City. He earned his bachelor's in finance and real estate from Florida State University.

Home sales in Unincorporated Northeast Palm Beach County have dropped 23.4 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also dropped $80,000, from $345,000 to $265,000 during the same period.
