NYC marketing executive loses on Parkland home

Marc Rappin and his wife, Deborah, sold their home at NW 103rd Lane in Parkland for $594,000 to Robert Elbaum on May 20.
The Rappins paid $799,500 for the property in July 2005.
Mr. Rappin is a senior vice president and group management director at Wunderman, a marketing communications company based in New York City. He joined the company in Nov. 2007 after three years spent in the same role with Zimmerman Advertising in Fort Lauderdale.
He also spent five years as a senior vice president at New York City advertising firm Foote, Cone & Belding.
He earned his bachelor's from the University of Wisconsin (1982).
Home sales in
Parkland dropped more than eight percent in 2007. The median sale price also dropped $58,000 last year, from $729,000 in 2006 to $787,000 last year.
