Equestrians pay $725K for Wellington home

Mr. and Mrs. Beerbaum
Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Markus Beerbaum, Michael Allen Heaman and Kristina Augusta Heaman bought a home at 17235 Gulf Pine Circle in Wellington for $725,000 from Patricia L. Miele on May 9.
The 3,094 square foot house was built in 1999.
Mrs. Beerbaum is a Los Angeles-born equestrian who competes internationally in show jumping.
She started riding ponies at a young age and at seven, she had her first jumping tournament. She eventually trained in Germany, where she met her husband, and has lived there after she married him in 1998.
Mrs. Beerbaum studied political science at Princeton University.
Mr. Beerbaum is a German jumping rider. In 1998, he won the World Cup in Rome and together with his team, won the European Championships in Mannheim in 1997.
He is also a trainer and a horse trader.
Home sales in
Wellington dropped 31.5 percent in 2007. Median sale price also dropped 14.4 percent, from $444,000 to $380,000 during the same period.
