Dr. Connie Arguello and her husband, Alfonso, bought a five-bedroom, four bath at 1800 SW 195th Ave. in Miramar for $644,000 from Charlotte Thompson on April 23.

Thompson paid $506,630 for the home in Sept. 2003.

Dr. Arguello is a dentist practicing at A Perfect Smile Dental Clinic in Miramar. The Nova Southern University graduate opened the clinic in March 2006.

Home sales in Miramar dropped 51.5 percent in 2007. The median sales price, however, rose $20,000 last year, from $280,000 in 2006 to $300,000 in 2007.
