Coconut Creek publisher buys Parkland 5BD

Mindi Rudan bought a five-bedroom, five bath at 8999 Hidden Pine St. in Parkland for $860,000 from Morgan Stanley Credit Corporation on April 29.

Morgan Stanley Credit Corporation acquired the property in a foreclosure for $889,000 on Jan. 9. The 4,948 square foot house was built in 2002.

Rudan is president of Ryplin Industries, a publishing company in Coconut Creek. She also serves as chairman of the Coconut Creek Chamber of Commerce Inc. and Parkland Chamber of Commerce.

Home sales in Parkland dropped more than eight percent in 2007. The median sale price also dropped $58,000 last year, from $787,000 in 2006 to $729,000 in 2007.
