Miami lawyers, melon company CEO swap Parkland home

Jeffrey Kramer and Wayne Rassner bought a house at 6253 NW 71st Terrace in Parkland for $1.075 million from Rafael Nir and his wife, Orna, on May 14.
The Nirs bought the home for $449,000 in Aug. 2002. It was built in 1997.
Kramer is an attorney at Kramer and Rassner P.A., a law firm headquartered in Miami that works personal injury, traffic violations, insurance, business law, wills and probate cases.
He received his J.D. from the University of Miami (1978) and his bachelor's degree from the school in 1973.
Rassner is also an attorney at Kramer and Rassner. He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami ('80) and his bachelor's from the school in 1977.
Mr. Nir is the president and CEO of the Sol Group, a Pompano Beach company that grows, imports and distributes watermelons, cantaloupes and honeydew melons.
The Nirs bought a five-bedroom, 5.5 bath at 8830 NW 68th Ct. in Parkland for $2.1 million on May 14.
Home sales in
Parkland dropped more than eight percent in 2007. The median sale price also dropped $58,000 last year, from $787,000 in 2006 to $729,000 in 2007.
