Marine industry specialist gets $930K for Fort Lauderdale

Wesley W. Dickman and his wife, Susan, sold a three-bedroom, three bath at 700 Ponciana St. in Fort Lauderdale for $930,000 from Edward and Barbara Mahoney on May 9.
The 2,018 square foot house was built in 1944.
Mr. Dickman is the founder, president, and CEO of The Dickman Group, Inc., a Fort Lauderdale management solution company that specializes in the marine industry.
Prior to founding The Dickman Group, he served as the president and CEO at Great American Boat Yards. Previously, he was vice president of marketing and sales for Bertram Yacht as well as a boat builder with the Chris Craft Corporation.
Home sales in
Fort Lauderdale dropped more than 26 percent in 2007. The median sale price, however, rose $11,000 last year, from $331,000 in 2006 to $342,000 in 2007.
