Vira Hladun-Goldmann bought a five-bedroom, 4.5 bath at 2289 Golf Brook Dr. in Wellington for $1.35 million from the Joslin Family Trust on May 2.
The 4,520 square foot home was built in 1988.
Hladun-Goldmann is an advisor to the EastWest Institute, an independent European-American non-profit organization based in New York City focused on the political and social situations in the transitional countries of Central Europe and Eurasia.
She has also the founder of Hladun-Goldmann Ltd., a company specializing in the restoration of 18th and 19th century homes. She is also the ex-wife of Robert I. Goldman, the late chairman and chief executive officer of the Congress Financial Corporation.
Home sales in Wellington dropped more than 33 percent in 2007. The median sale price also dropped $68,000 last year, from $450,000 in 2006 to $382,000 in 2007.
