Urban Outfitters CEO pays $3.2M for Wellington 5BD

Glen T. Senk bought a five-bedroom, 6.5 bath at 2699 Sheltingham Drive in Wellington from Steven and Kimberly Johnson for $3.2 million on March 25.

The Johnsons paid $2.7 million for the 5,191 square foot house, which was built in 2002, in May 2005.

Last May, Senk was named CEO of Urban Outfitters, a trendy retail clothing chain that has stores nationwide. He has been the president of Anthropologie, which is owned by Urban Outfitter Inc., since 1994.

He was previously a senior vice president and general merchandise manager of Williams-Sonoma and CEO of Habitat International Merchandise. He began his career with Bloomingdale's.

Senk holds an M.B.A from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from New York University.

He sold his Wellington home at 14219 Calypso Lane in March.

Home sales in Wellington dropped more than 33 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also dropped from $450,000 to $382,000.
