Dr. Walter William Laidlaw sold a three-bedroom, three bath condo at 11042 Turtle Beach Road in Unincorporated Northeast Palm Beach to CK&A Properties LLC for $1,066,500 on March 19.
Laidlaw paid $480,000 for the 2,230 square foot Unit #2040, which is in the Greathouse condo development, in July 1991.
Laidlaw, a radiologist, works with the Grand Rapids Division of Advanced Radiology Services, P.C., which has multiple locations across West Michigan and serves seven healthcare systems.
He is also the medical director/advisor to the Radiologic Technology Program at the Grand Rapids Community College. He previously worked at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center as an attending radiologist and also as chair of the Department of Radiology. He was also an associate clinical professor of radiology at the Michigan State University School of Medicine.
Laidlaw received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed his internship and residency in diagnostic radiology at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center.
Condo sales in Unincorporated Northeast Palm Beach County dropped 11 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $430,000 to $267,000.
