Pennsylvania contractor spends $850K in North Palm Beach

Samuel P. Grannas and his wife, Emily, bought a four-bedroom, three bath at 883 Country Club Drive in North Palm Beach from James and Jean Frevert for $850,000 on March 27.
The Freverts paid $237,700 for the 2,288 square foot house, which was built in 1966, in Dec. 1982.
Mr. Grannas is the owner and president of family-owned Grannas Brothers Contracting Company in Hollidaysburg, Pa.
The company does all types of asphalt paving, road reconstruction and site development projects.
Home sales in North Palm Beach dropped 22 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price fell from $285,000 to $278,000.
