Sports apparel CEO settles into Boca Raton 4BD

Allen Shukow and his wife, Donna, bought a four-bedroom, five bath at 2845 Banyan Boulevard Circle NW in Boca Raton from James Mann for $1.175 million on April 23.

Mann paid $436,500 for the 4,216 square foot house in Nov. 1996. It was built in 1983.

Mr. Shukow is the president and CEO of Sports Casuals, Inc., a diversified sports apparel company headquartered in Boca Raton. He's run the company for the last 20 years after starting a tennis apparel company that he sold in the 1980s.

Home sales in Boca Raton dropped 26 percent in 2007. The median sales price also fell from $450,000 to $419,000.
