OB/GYN buys Weston home from medical co. CEO

Dr. Normil R. Cadet and Denise Cadet bought a 3,027 square foot home at 3055 Lakewood Drive in Weston from Rex and Bambi Niles for $630,000 on April 1.

Mr. and Mrs. Niles paid $700,000 for the house, which was built in 1994, in May 2005.

Dr. Cadet practices obstetrics and gynecology in Flushing, Brooklyn and Jamaica, N.Y.

He graduated from the University of Hawaii.

Mr. Niles has worked as the CEO of Miramar-headquartered FLA Orthopedics, a manufacturer of orthopedic supports and bracing products.

He was previously CEO of DHD Healthcare, which develops, manufactures and markets disposable devices for respiratory therapy. It was sold to Smiths Medical in 2004.

Home sales in Weston rose almost 14 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price fell from $439,000 to $365,000.
