The 5,028 square foot home is a new construction. Bella Vista Developments LLC paid $776,000 for the property in Sept. 2006.
Dr. Violin is an ophthalmologist in the Boston area. He performs mainly cataract and LASIK eye surgeries.
He was one of the first physicians in Massachusetts to perform small incision cataract and implant surgery. He was also a pioneer of epikeratophakia, a precursor to current LASIK technology.
He graduated from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Home sales in Wellington dropped 33 percent in 2007. The median sales price also dropped from $450,000 to $382,000.
