Naveen Goel and Anjali Bhasin bought a five-bedroom, four bath at 600 Carrotwood Terrace in Plantation for $1.035 million from Dr. Evan Schlam and his wife, Lori, on April 3.
The Schlams paid $838,500 for the property in May 2004.
The 4,244 square foot home, which was built in 2005, was listed as high as $1.229 million.
Dr. Schlam is a dermatologist with South Florida Specialists in General and Cosmetic Dermatology in Plantation. He works alongside his father, Edward, who is also a dermatologist.
The younger Schlam is also a clinical assistant professor with the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he teaches skin cancer surgery.
Dr. Evan Schlam earned his M.D. from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University.
The home is located in the Hawks Landing community. The Schlams bought another home in the subdivision at
10641 Grayhawk Street for $2.075 million in Jan. 2007.
Home sales in
Plantation fell more than 33 percent in 2007. The median sales price also dropped from $265,000 to $250,000.
