Carey and Linda Pack bought a two-bedroom, three bath at 3386 Degas Drive West in Palm Beach Gardens for $1.2 million from Martin D. and Ruth Krall on April 7.
The Kralls paid $895,000 for the property in July 2005.
The 2,898 square foot home, which was built in 1991, was listed as high as $1.395 million. It is located in the Frenchman's Creek Community.
Mr. Krall is senior counsel with Pilsbury law firm in Washington D.C. He specializes in business transactions, real estate, corporate, securities, media and labor law.
He was previously a partner and vice chairman with Shaw Pittman. From 1995-2004, he served as executive vice president and chief legal officer for the New York Daily News and U.S. News and World Report.
Krall earned his B.A. from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Yale Law School.
Mr. Pack is an executive managing director and CEO with New York investment firm BNY ConvergEx Group. He previously served as a vice president with Salomon Brothers, managing their prime brokerage and clearing activity businesses. He also worked for JP Morgan in London, where he ran their European securities servicing business.
Mr. Pack has a bachelor's degree from Stony Brook University and an M.B.A. from Carnegie-Mellon University.
