John Reback and his wife, Kirsten, bought a seven-bedroom, 5.5 bath at 145 Ocean Key Way in Jupiter for $2.2 million from Felix and Michele Canino on April 11.
The Caninos paid $545,000 for the property in March 2002.
Mr. Reback is a professional triathlete and has competed in triathlons since 1999. Reback, 37, is a five-time winner of the Florida Atlantic University Wellness Triathlon and finished second in the race on April 14. He has also competed in the Ironman Hawaii World Championships twice.
Home sales in Jupiter dropped 31 percent in 2007. The median sales price also dropped $78,000 last year, from $400,000 in 2006 to $322,000 in 2007.
