Maryland advertising couple spends $1.5M in Jupiter

David Pivec and his wife, Sharon, bought a two-bedroom, two bath at 615 White Pelican Way in Jupiter for $1.5 million from RBF LLC on April 2.

The 1,946 square foot home was built in 2006. It was listed for $1.55 million.

Mr. and Mrs. Pivec are the co-owners of Pivec Advertising, an advertising agency based in Timonium, Md. Mr. Pivec is also a former part-owner of the Baltimore Bayhawks, a Major League Lacrosse franchise. He was part of an organization that bought the team in 2001 and then sold it in Feb. 2006.

Home sales in Jupiter dropped 31 percent in 2007. The median sales price also dropped $78,000 last year, from $400,000 in 2006 to $322,000 in 2007.
