Dr. Scott Skorupa and his wife, Kara, bought a five-bedroom, seven bath at 2733 Treanor Terrace in Wellington for $1.45 million from Minto Communities on July 17, 2006.

The 5,537 square foot home was built in 2006. It's in Olympia of Wellington, a gated community on the border of Wellington and West Palm Beach.

Mrs. Skorupa is an attorney with Deratany, Skorupa & O'Hara, P.A in North Palm Beach.

Prior to joining the firm in 2004, she worked as a federal investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor's Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration in Atlanta. She has also worked as a staff attorney with the Social Security Administration's Office of Hearings and Appeals in Chicago.

She earned both a bachelor's degree and her J.D. from the University of Florida. She also received an LL.M. from DePaul University in Chicago.

Dr. Skorupa is a radiologist with Radiology Associates in Hollywood.

He earned both his bachelor's and medical degrees from the University of Florida School of Medicine.

Home sales in Wellington dropped more than 33 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also dropped from $450,000 to $382,000.
