Finnish window co. CEO buys South Palm Beach condo

Clyde B. Brechbuhler and wife, Wanda, sold a three-bedroom, three bath condo in the Thirty Five Sixty development at 3560 S. Ocean Blvd. in South Palm Beach to Timo and Marjut Vannas for $799,000 on March 5.
The Brechbuhlers paid $275,000 for the 2,025 square foot Unit #0601 in June 1987.
Mr. Brechbuhler has worked with
Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. in Canton, Ohio. The company, a provider of state-of-the-art weighing equipments, has been run by his family since 1929.
Mr. Vannas is the founder and CEO of
Pihlavan Ikkuna, a window manufacturer in Finland.
Home sales in South Palm Beach dropped 31 percent in December 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also dropped from $350,000 to $262,000.
