Randall Olsavsky bought a three-bedroom, three bath at 289 Tropic Dr. in Lauderdale-by-the-sea for $1.106 million on Feb. 29.

The 3,420 square foot house, which was built in 1962, is in the Silver Shores community.

Olsavsky is a realtor with Coral Shores Realty, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale.

He owns another Fort Lauderdale home at 5201 NE 31st Ave., which he bought on Feb. 7.

Home sales in Lauderdale-by-the-sea dropped 16 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price also fell from $412,000 to $374,000.
