Midwestern scrap metal exec pays $2.775M in Jupiter

Mr. Rifkin
Martin Rifkin and his wife, Judy Anne, bought a four-bedroom, five bath at 526 Bald Eagle Dr. in Jupiter for $2.775 million from Charles E. Phyle on March 4.
Phyle paid $2,654,265 for the property in Sept. 2006.
The 6,927 square foot home was listed for $2.95 million.
Mr. Rifkin is an executive vice president with the OmniSource Corporation, an Indiana-based processor and distributor of scrap and secondary metals. He joined the company in 1985 as an operations manager for the non-ferrous division in Toledo, Ohio, and became a general manager two years later.
Home sales in
Jupiter dropped 31 percent in 2007. The median sales price also dropped $78,000 last year, from $400,000 in 2006 to $322,000 in 2007.
