Military man turned talent scout spends $1.2M in Weston

William Waldbueser bought a four-bedroom, four bath at 3088 Birkdale in Weston from Jonathan and Jennifer Stevens for $1.2 million on Jan. 17.

Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Stevens paid $1.49 million for the house, which was built in 1994, in July 2006.

William Waldbueser is president of Model Productions, a production company and talent agency based in Atlanta, Ga.

He is a 1972 alumnus of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a retired lieutenant colonel.

Mr. Waldbueser co-founded the company, which has offices in Miami and New York City, with wife, Carolyn, who is also the vice president.

Home sales in Weston went up less than one percent through Dec. 15, 2007 versus the same period in 2006. Median sales price dropped from $451,000 to $402,000.
