Global strategist sells for $570K in Davie

Kevin Wagerson and his wife, Theresa, sold a five-bedroom, three bath at 9683 Ridgecrest Court in Davie to Stephen and Karine Casanova for $570,000 on Jan. 2.

The Wagersons paid $705,000 for the property in Dec. 2005.

The 2,572 square foot home, which was built in 1995, was listed as high as $599,000.

Mr. Wagerson has worked in industrial sales and engineering management for the past 15 years. He currently serves as a director with Global Trade Development Group. The Southfield, Mich.-based firm works with industrial companies on strategies for entering the global marketplace.

He previously worked as director of sales and engineering for an aluminum casting manufacturing company in Mexico.

He earned his B.A. from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio.

Mrs. Wagerson (formerly Kepferle) has worked as a regional portfolio manager for General Motors Corporation.

She is also an alumnus of John Carroll.

The Wagersons also own a home at 1135 Yorkshire Road in Gross Pointe Park, Mich. They paid $504,000 for the property in Jan. 2006.

Home sales in Davie dropped nearly 27 percent in 2007. The median sales price also dropped $8,000 last year, from $260,000 in 2006 to $252,000 in 2007.
