Peter Hult bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 2025 SE 15th Court in Pompano Beach's Bel Air community from Steven and Jill Kovanic for $1.2 million on Dec. 10.

The Kovanics paid $642,000 for the 2,405 square foot house, which was built in 1968, in Oct. 2002.

For the past four years, Mr. Hult, a native of Sweden, has been the vice president for Operations of Fort Lauderdale-based MHG, an international benefits specialist catering the marine industry.

Prior to MHG, Hult worked at Silversea Cruises starting in 1995 where he held positions in the Hotel, HR and Corporate departments. In 2001, he joined The World of ResidenSea, a ship that "carries luxury vacation residences to the four corners of the earth."

Peter attended the Filborna School in Helsingborg, Sweden.

He also owns a unit in Lauderdale-by-the-sea's Ocean Place, which he bought in 2004.

Home sales in Pompano Beach dropped 21 percent through Dec. 15, 2007 versus the same period in 2006. Median sales price remained the same at $215,000.
