Tire wholesalers sell West Delray home for $610K

Richard and Rochelle Kugel sold a four-bedroom, two bath at 7333 Carmela Way in West Delray to Martin and Elaine Weinberg for $610,000 on Dec. 14.

The Kugels paid $610,014 for the property in May 2006.

Mr. Kugel is vice president of Future Tire Co., a wholesale tire distributor based in Old Bethpage, N.Y. He co-founded the company in 1971 as Plainview Tire Wholesalers, Inc. In 1988, the company became Future Tire Co.

Richard has over 30 years of experience in both the retail and wholesale fields of the tire business.

Mrs. Kugel handles the Accounts Payable Department for the company.

Home sales in West Delray dropped 29 percent through Dec. 15, 2007 versus the same period in 2006. Median sales price slipped from $275,000 to $175,000.
