Corporate attorney loses $81K on Delray Beach 3BD

Janet Saura sold a three-bedroom, three bath townhome in Delray Beach at 824 Estuary Way for $640,000 to Brian Worgan on Jan. 8.

Saura paid $721,000 for the townhome in March, 2005.

The 2,884 square foot townhome was listed as high as $739,000.

Saura is an attorney specializing in labor and employment law. She has worked with Lowes Companies and Office Depot as well as AutoNation and Kmart.

She earned her J.D. at the University of Detroit after receiving her bachelor's from Oakland University.

Condo sales in Delray Beach dropped 42 percent in 2007. The median sales price also dropped $46,000 last year, from $245,000 in 2006 to $199,000 in 2007.

Sales in the Estuary were up 16 percent in 2007, but the median sales price dropped 55 percent to $675,000 from $1.5 million.
