Joseph P. Callanan and John Deady bought a four-bedroom, four bath at 4218 Seagrape Dr. in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea for $635,000 from Vincent and Monique Simeone on Dec. 12.
The Simeones paid $700,000 for the 2,800 square foot townhome in Oct. 2004. It was listed for as high as $895,000.
Mr. Callanan is an executive vice president with City Lights Electrical Co., Inc., a Boston-based electrical contractor. He has been with the company since 2001, previously serving as director of telecommunications.
Mr. Deady also works with City Lights Electrical, serving as president and COO. After joining the company in 1997 as an electrical foreman, he also worked as general foreman, project manager, director of operations and general manager.
City Lights Electrical also has an office in Fort Lauderdale.
Home sales in
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea dropped almost 17 percent through Dec. 15, 2007 versus the same period in 2006. Median sales price also fell $38,000 from $412,000 to $374,000.
