Multimedia designer buys Davie 5BD

Bryan Persad and Trisha Persad bought a five-bedroom, three bath at 2440 SW 115th Terrace in Davie from Brian Truman and Tatiana Macia for $625,000 on Dec. 12.

Truman and Macia paid $700,000 for the 3,679 square foot home, which was built in 1986, in March 2005.

Mr. Persad, who was born and raised in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, moved to Florida in 1997 and later joined ABC Web Service as multimedia designer in 2005.

He received his B.S. in Interactive Media Design from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Mrs. Persad, also from Trinidad and Tobago, moved to Florida in 1998. She received her associate's in Biology from Palm Beach Community College.

Home sales in Davie dropped 23 percent through Dec. 15, 2007 versus the same period in 2006. Median sales price slightly dropped from $260,000 to $252,000.
