Lawyer buys from Nova law professor in Plantation

Coren Stern and his wife, Rici, bought a home at 10110 NW 7th St. in Plantation for $670,000 from David Weiss and Lynn A. Epstein on Sept. 26.
Mr. Stern is an associate attorney specializing in securities law in the Miramar office of law firm Bressler, Amery & Ross. He concentrates in securities-related arbitrations, mediation, commercial litigation and environmental insurance coverage litigation.
He's also worked in the Miami law office of Morgan Lewis and the New York office of Winston and Strawn.
He received his J.D. from Boston College (2000) and his bachelor's from Yale University (1996).
Mrs. Epstein is a professor of law at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, a position she has held since 2001. She's been on the faculty of the school since 1989.
The Miami native has also served as an associate professor of law, a professor of legal writing and a visiting assistant professor of law.
She received her J.D. from Nova University (1986) and her bachelor's in Marketing from C.W. Post College in Brookville, N.Y. (1982).
Home sales in
Plantation decreased nearly 34 percent through Dec. 15, 2007 vs. the same period in 2006. The median price slipped $15,000 from $265,000 to $250,000.
