Edward Pettinella sold a six-bedroom, four-bath condo at 16047 Collins Ave. in Sunny Isles Beach to Edvi LLC for $2 million on Oct. 20.

Pettinella paid $2.689 million for the property in Sept. 2008. The 3,735-square-foot Unit #2404 is part of the 36-story Turnberry Ocean Colony South development, which was built in 2006.

Pettinella is the president, chief executive officer and director of Home Properties, a real estate investment trust based in Rochester, N.Y. Prior to joining the company in 2001, he served as president at Charter One Bank of New York, executive vice president at Charter One Financial and he was the chief operating officer and chief executive officer at Rochester Community Savings Bank.

He earned his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York-Geneseo and his M.B.A. in finance from Syracuse University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 756 condo sales in Sunny Isles Beach during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $240,000.
