Michael Murkowski and his wife, Karen sold a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 830 Lugo Ave. in Coral Gables to Marta Alvarez, Benjamin Alvarez and Walter Lista for $1.8 million on Sept. 10.

The 3,028-square-foot house, which was built in 1968, is in the Gables Bayfront neighborhood.

Mr. Murkowski is the vice president of marketing, customer service and customer technology for the Latin America and Caribbean division of FedEx Express in Miami.

He graduated from Willamette University with a degree in political science and an M.A. in international business management from the American School of International Management.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 430 sales in Coral Gables in 2008, with a median price of $444,900.
