Darren Sharper has listed for sale a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 1522 Island Blvd. in Aventura from Promenade Development Ltd. for $3.3 million.

Sharper bought the property for $2,898,242 in Feb. 2007. The 6,362-square-foot house was built in 2007 in the Dumfoundling Bay neighborhood. Farouk Ali of FLNY Properties is the listing agent.

Sharper is a safety with the NFL's New Orleans Saints. The four-time Pro Bowler was drafted in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Vikings prior to the 2005 season and joined the Saints in March 2009.

The four-time All Pro selection has 857 tackles, seven sacks and 54 interceptions in 12 seasons. He played college football at William & Mary.

There were 1,056 home sales in Aventura in 2008, with median sales price of $250,000.
