Dr. Poplaw is an emergency room physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. He is also affiliated with Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah and Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami Beach.

He graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine in 1999 and trained in emergency medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
