Chantelle M. Streete and Cengiz Ozelsel bought a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at 21050 Point Place in Aventura from Roberto and Frida Bandel for $657,200 on May 21.
The Bandels paid $707,500 for Unit #1002 in Dec. 2003. The 2,630-square-foot condo, which was built in 2000, is part of the Atlantic at the Point condominium development in North Aventura.
Streete is a vice president at Merrill Lynch, one of the world's leading financial management and advisory companies.
She earned her master's in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
Ozelsel is a credit derivatives broker at Axiom Global Partners, a hybrid advertising agency and marketing communications firm. Prior to that, he was an analyst covering the hardlines retail sector at Telsey Advisory Group. He also served as an associate analyst at Bernstein, spent two years at Phoenix Partners and worked in corporate strategy and business development with Schenker and DHL.
He earned his B.A. in French from the University of North Carolina-Asheville and received his M.B.A in finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
Sales at Atlantic at the Point were down 46.2 percent from 2007-08, while the median sales price fell 26.3 percent during that time.
There were 1,024 condo sales in Aventura in 2008, with a median sales price of $250,000.
