Daniel and Carrie Renzi bought a two-bedroom, three-bath condo at 3201 N.E. 183rd St. in Aventura from Aventura Land Holding Ltd II for $1.1 million on May 20.
The 2,984-square-foot Unit #3104, which was built in 2006, is part of the Peninsula condominium development.
Mr. Renzi is the editor in chief of the South Florida Blade, which covers GLBT and political news in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area.
He earned his degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick.
Sales at the Peninsula fell 48.8 percent from 2007-08, while the median sales price dropped 1.9 percent during that time.
There were 1,024 condo sales in Aventura in 2008, with a median sales price of $250,000.
