Scrap metal owner sells Key Biscayne 2BD for $1.15M

Michael Netsky sold a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 781 Crandon Blvd. in Key Biscayne to 802 Rlty Inc. for $1.15 million on May 18.

Netsky paid $1.4 million for Unit #802 in May 2005. The 2,100-square-foot condo is part of the Club Tower condominium development.

Netsky is the owner and operator of Tin Man Co., a scrap recycling company. He started the company in 2004.

Sales at the Club Tower were down 22.2 percent from 2007-08, while the median sales price jumped 7.6 percent during that time.

There were 124 condo sales in Key Biscayne in 2008, with a median sales price of $633,250.
