Commercial litigator spends $1.26M for Boca Raton 6BD

Medium cc982b041c21937e1760bb934d5f758f Jon L. Swergold bought a six-bedroom, seven-bath home at 17598 Circle Pond Court in Unincorporated Boca Raton from Jaclyn G. Muskat for $1.26 million on April 27.

Muskat paid $1.2 million for the property in August 2010. The 6,512-square-foot home was built in 2005 in Whisper Walk. It is part of the Fox Hill Estates of Boca Raton subdivision.

According to the Greenberg Traurig website, Swergold is a shareholder and a member of the litigation practice group of the firm's Fort Lauderdale office, where he focuses on commercial litigation, workout and banking litigation, employment litigation, real estate litigation and business fraud litigation.

He earned an A.B. in political science from Columbia University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.

According to her public LinkedIn profile, Muskat has a solo law practice in Boca Raton. She is also a senior loan officer at Choice Mortgage Bank and a real estate broker at Florida Home Center LLC.

She holds a B.B.A. in finance from Emory University and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 2,621 home sales in Unincorporated Boca Raton during the past 12 months, with a median sale price of $150,000.
