W. Richard Bingham bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 345 Seaspray Ave. in Palm Beach from Richard P. Callahan and Cynthia H. Callahan for $3.35 million on Dec. 5.
The 3,912-square-foot home was built in 1937 in Palm Beach North. It is part of the Poinciana Park subdivision.
Bingham is director, president and co-founder of American Industrial Partners, a private equity firm. He is the former chairman of California Academy of Sciences and was a director of Great Lakes Carbon Corp., Bucyrus International Inc. and Stanadyne Automotive Corp. He has also served as managing director at Lehman Brothers Inc.
He attended Harvard Business School and Stanford University.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 392 home sales in Palm Beach during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $737,500.
