Brett A. Langbert and Kristen L. Langbert bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 114 Valencia Blvd. in Jupiter from Brian Muhlbaier and Elizabeth Muhlbaier for $895,000 on Nov. 1.
The Muhlbaiers paid $925,000 for the property in March 2010. The 3,561-square-foot home was built in 2003 in Jupiter South/Abacoa. It is part of the Valencia at Abacoa subdivision.
Brett Langbert is the president and COO of HedgeCo Networks, a hedge fund research and services firm. Previously, he was a managing director of prime brokerage sales for the Americas at UBS Investment Bank. Prior to that, he was a managing director of cash sales trading for the Americas at Morgan Stanley. Earlier in his career, he worked as a cash sales trader at Goldman Sachs.
He holds a B.A. in political science from Colgate University. He holds the Series 7, 63, 3, 55, 9, 10 and 24 securities licenses.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,489 home sales in Jupiter during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $222,000.
