Barry L. Savitz and Gail Savitz bought a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 107 Village Clubhouse Circle in Jupiter from Richard Roth and Florence Roth for $560,000 on Sept. 16.
The property was previously acquired for $536,700 in Oct. 2003. The 2,707-square-foot house, which was built in 1999, is in Johnathan's Landing/Admiral's Cove. It is located in Golf Village at Admiral's Cove subdivision.
Mr. Savitz is a senior managing partner at Greenwich Prime Trading Group, a company providing outsourced trading services for asset management firms. Previously, he was the managing director and head equity trader at Furman Selz Prime Trading Group. Prior to Furman Selz, he was with investment firm Rockefeller & Co. as manager of equity trading and with finance services Bass Brothers as head trader. He was also affiliated with brokerage and asset management company Salomon Brothers as vice president of equity trading. In addition, he was with the State of Connecticut Pension Fund and with IBM Pension Fund as head trader.
He received a bachelor's degree from the City College of New York.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,452 home sales in Jupiter during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $205,000.
