Labetti is the owner of alabetti Inc., a software consulting firm. He previously was the owner and vice president of sales for Ardor Associates Inc., a software consulting firm which he founded in 1989. Earlier he served as a sales executive at SAP America and he was an account representative for Dun & Bradsteet and McCormack & Dodge.

He earned a B.S. in economics and accounting at Touro College in 1970.
