Dr. Gerald M. Lemole and his wife, Emily, have listed for sale a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 246 Monterey Road in Palm Beach for $4.75 million.
The Lemoles bought the property for $3.5 million in May 2005. The 5,017-square-foot house was built in 1940 in the Palm Beach North neighborhood. Shirley Wyner of Barclays International Realty is the listing agent.
Dr. Lemole is a cardiologist at Lemole & Spagna in Newark, Del. He is also the medical director of Preventive Medicine and Rehabilitation Center and the Center for Integrative Health at Christiana Care Health System in Newark. He began his career as an instructor at the Texas Heart Institute and as a teacher and chief of cardiothoracic surgery at Temple University.
He received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 1958 and his M.D. from the Temple University School of Medicine in 1962. He completed his internship at Staten Island Hospital, his residency in general surgery at Temple University and his fellowship in thoracic surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine.
Mrs. Lemole is a health educator with Wellness Works and the former owner of a children's bookstore.
She holds a bachelor's in English literature from Denison University and an M.A. in religious studies from ANC Theological School. She also finished post graduate studies in children's literature at Arcadia College and in holistic health from Rosemont College.
