Zev Gurion and Dr. Danielle Gurion bought a three-bedroom, four-bath condo at 2917 S. Ocean Blvd. in Highland Beach from Claudia and Michael Boss for $625,000 on Oct. 2.
Mr. Boss, along with Ian Boss, paid $375,000 for the property in June 2001. The nine-story condo development at 2917 S. Ocean Blvd. is also known as the Trafalgar of Highland Beach. It was constructed in 1980.
Mr. Gurion has been the president at New Global Ventures and GlobeChem Marketing. He also serves as member of the board at Targetech Ltd. in Ohio. Previously, he served as the global automotive marketing manager at ExxonMobil Chemical and as vice president of automotive at Advanced Elastomer Systems.
He holds a Ph.D. in polymers and fiber science and a B.S. in chemistry and physics from the University of Manchester. He also has an M.S. in organic chemistry and B.S. in chemistry and physics from the Hebrew University.
Dr. Gurion has been a psychologist at Akron Psychological Associates.
She holds master's degrees from the University of Manchester and from the University of North Carolina. She also has a Ph.D. from the University of Detroit.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 133 condo sales in Highland Beach during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $361,750.
