Dr. Alfredo E. Tendler and Dr. Minelle Tendler bought a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 2016 Thatch Palm Dr. in Boca Raton from Rickey and Johanna Felberbaum for $2.7 million on Sept. 14.

The Felberbaums paid $2.8 million for the property in Dec. 2004, the same year it was built. The home is in the Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club subdivision.

Dr. Alfredo Tendler is an oral maxillofacial surgeon at the Oral Facial Reconstruction and Implant Center of South Florida. He is also president of the North Dade and Miami Beach dental society.

He has a dental degree from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He completed his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Boston University Medical Center.

Dr. Minelle Tendler is an orthodontist at Feldon Tendler Orthodontics in Boca Raton.

She earned her bachelor's degree in biology at the School of Arts and Sciences of Boston College. She attended the orthodontics program at Nova Southeastern University.

Mr. Felberbaum is a managing partner at the Felberbaum & Associates P.A. and Resource Title Company in Boca Raton. He previously owned a boutique real estate law firm in Manhattan, N.Y.

He has a bachelor's degree from Boston University and a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,658 sales in Boca Raton in 2008, with a median sales price of $430,000.
